Jessenia Herrera, MSW, LCSW

Ms. Herrera is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked in the mental health field for over 5 years.  She received her Bachelor’s degree with a dual major in Psychology/Criminal Justice and received her Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University.  Ms. Herrera has experience providing services in an array of settings to youth, adults, and families diagnosed with various diagnoses and presenting issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, self-injurious behaviors, and trauma.  Ms. Herrera’s clinical approach is integrative to meet the individual needs of each youth. The different approaches include, but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychotherapy, and a client centered approach.  In her free time, Ms. Herrera enjoys practicing yoga, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
