Dana DeCarlo, BA
Dana DeCarlo is a graduate student at Rutgers University In New Brunswick, New Jersey. She is earning her Masters degree in Social Work with a clinical concentration and focus in behavioral and mental health. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Kean University in Edison, New Jersey. The study of mind and behavior has allowed her to better understand human development, social behavior, thought processes, and health while working with individuals. Her current work in administratively assisting therapists and psychiatrists focuses on anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Using a team-based approach, she has worked with families in the NJ Children’s system of care and provided support, advocacy, and community resources to those in need. Dana strongly believes mental health is a part of our overall well-being, and uses a motivational and strengths-based approach to guide individuals to meet their goals.
